Bible Verses About Peace
The Bible speaks directly to peace. Read John 14:27 and other Scripture passages to find encouragement, wisdom, and hope for your situation.
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27 was spoken by Jesus during the Last Supper, as He prepared His disciples for His impending departure. Jesus reassured them of the peace He would leave with them, a peace unlike any the world offers. This promise remains relevant today as believers face uncertainties and anxieties, reminding us that true peace is found in Christ alone.
